Kevin Krause Named FSL Player of the Week Power Surge Earns Outfielder FSL Honors

Bradenton, Fla. - Outfielder Kevin Krause has been named the Florida State League Player of the Week for the period of April 6-April 16. Krause hit .333 with a double, two triples, three home runs, and six RBIs during the season opening stretch.

Krause made his season debut on April 9 and immediately left a big impression. The Staten Island, NY native homered on each of his first two swings as a Marauder. His three home runs this year match his total from the 2016 season.

Krause is the first Marauder to earn Player of the Week recognition in 2017. He was selected by the Pirates in the ninth round of the 2014 draft.

The Marauders host the Clearwater Threshers (Philadelphia Phillies) tonight at LECOM Park at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The LECOM Park box office hours are Tuesday-Friday non-gamedays from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On gamedays the box office will be open on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the game and on Saturdays from 3:30 until the end of the game. The box office will open two hours prior to Sunday games and 10:30 a.m. games.
